BOSSES of a timber company saw the potential in investing more than £100,000 in the business to create up to 20 new jobs.
The cash injection - to develop new products and machinery - is being pumped into M and M Timber's Clows Top sawmills, with the aim of increasing business by a quarter this year.
New recruits are joining the production and administration departments, while new IT systems will be introduced.
The company already supplies timber landscaping products to customers ranging from property developers to local authorities and will now step up its sales drive into the gardening industry.
One immediate dividend is the winning of a substantial order for garden products from a leading chain of garden centres.
