STRICTLY Come Dancing contestant, Esther Rantzen, waltzed off with a £2,000 donation to ChildLine - the charity she chairs - from an Elmley Lovett-based business.
Kevin Mellor, corporate growth manager of wheeled waste container supplier, Taylor, handed over a cheque equivalent to cash saved by the company after it decided not to send Christmas cards. "The money normally spent on cards and postage has gone directly to our chosen good cause - ChildLine," said Taylor's marketing manager, Aletia Rossini.
Taylor's donation went to the charity's Birmingham counselling centre, which receives more than 400 calls a day from children.
