PRIZES for the 2004 Parish Games were presented alongside the Wychavon Sports Personality awards at Pershore and it was Bretforton who were crowned champion parish.
The winners ended a run of nine straight wins for Evesham Bengeworth who were pipped into second place.
Crowle received the Award of Merit, while the Small Parishes trophy went to Wyre Piddle in a competition that attracted around 1,100 participants in the 12 different sports.
