THE chairman of Droitwich's Forum for Older People is jetting off to Germany next month to represent the West Midlands at a European conference.
Eve Freer said she intends to put older people in Worcestershire on the European map when she attends the first ever European Silver Economy Conference in Bonn on Wednesday, February 16.
"In my role as a delegate to the Regional Assembly's Advisory group on Ageing in the West Midlands, I will be talking to delegates about how older people in Worcestershire are engaged in decision making on public services," she said.
"There will of course be speakers and delegates from other European Countries and I am hoping to bring back some new and innovative ideas on health and home care."
Mrs Freer will be at the conference for three days, speaking in front of hundreds of people.
