ROADS with bumpy edges, pot holes and dropped drain covers make road cycling uncomfortable and dangerous.
Less terror from certain motorised and motorist behaviour together with local/national investment in cycle routes/quiet pedestrian ways could help both forms of movement.
Lights are used for the safety of all and perhaps the hooter could be reintroduced to warn of approaching bikes and to compete with traffic noise!
