I am writing with reference to the letter of Mr J H Ling (Your Letters, January 21).
The comment made by the lady from Cheltenham, that the charity shops are much better in Malvern, should be considered seriously by all of those who have plans for the regeneration of Malvern.
The meaning of this is that the development of Malvern should be based on what it is known for and what it can offer; shops selling second-hand goods.
The councils have to look at the huge success of the Hay-on-Wye.
