CELTIC vocal group Anuna will bring the haunting sound of Irish choral music to the Malvern Theatres on Saturday, February 5.
The group shot to fame in 1994 with a performance of their choral piece Cloudsong, which became the introduction to Irish dance phenomenon Riverdance.
The subsequent single spent 18 weeks at number one in the Irish charts and the group became an integral part of Riverdance - The Show.
Set up in 1987 by Dublin-born composer Michael McGlynn, Anuna has toured the world, performing unique and sometimes forgotten music and texts from medieval and contemporary Ireland.
Since departing from Riverdance in 1996, the group has released nine albums and performed with artists including Sinead O'Connor, Barry Manilow and Elvis Costello.
Anuna perform at the Forum Theatre from 7.30pm. Tickets are £16.50 and £14.50 on 01684 892277.
