WORCESTERSHIRE'S Kabir Ali grabbed his first two one-day international wickets in helping England to victory over South Africa in Johannesburg yesterday.
England's batsmen got most media attention at the Wanderers but the rain-affected win was built by a new-look pace attack.
Veteran Darren Gough, the recalled Matthew Hoggard and New Road youngster Kabir each struck twice.
Although the home side recovered to an extent, the tourists were well on course for their victory target of 176 when the wet weather blew in to confirm a 26-run winning margin by the Duckworth/Lewis method.
