FOUR people have been arrested on suspicion of theft in connection with fund-raising efforts to help an eight-year-old girl receive potentially life-changing treatment.
Several public events have been held to generate the £10,000 needed to send Tilly Merrell for specialist treatment in California.
The youngster, from Borrowdale Drive, Warndon, who cannot eat or drink anything in case it enters her lungs, requires intensive tests that can be carried out in the USA.
However, four people involved in one of the events in her name, have now been arrested.
The four - three women and a man - were arrested during at different addresses in the city on Saturday, and Sunday.
