A CHARITY set up by a former Alcester man has handed over another £1,000 to the cancer ward at Coventry's Walsgrave Hospital.
Edmund Boehm died in 1992 aged just 25 but set up the fund in appreciation of the help and care he received.
His mother Sheila, of Gerard Road, has continued raising funds and a total of £17,000 has now been handed over.
She said: "I just want to say thank you to all the people who have given to the Eddie Boehm Charity Fund."
