STUDLEY Blue and White Skippers' Sue Dale was awarded with the coach/sports teacher of the year at the Stratford District Sports Awards evening in Sunday.
Dale was presented with her award by Stratford Council's Paul Ogden at a glitzy evening at the newly refurbished Waterside Theatre.
Dale was up against some stiff opposition in the form of Colin Davis of Stratford upon Avon Cricket Club, Tony Hathaway, of Kineton High School Gymnastics, Colin Phillips, of Kineton High School Rugby and Helen Slatter of Stratford Sharks Swimming Club.
Rachel Dale, also of the Blue and White Skippers was a finalist in the Junior Sports Person and the team as a whole got to the finals of the Junior Team competition.
n The Blue and Whites took part in the National Speed Championships on Saturday, January 29. Gold award winners were: Amy Bayliss, Rosina Jones, Katie Tolley, Aimee Summers, Chloe Greaves, Kelli Hovell, Lauren Sheperd, Suzie Britt, Nicole Jackson, Tasmin Jones, Molly Beck ,Emma Robinson, Beci Dale, Laura Summers, Rachael Dale, Gemma McGhee, Kim Averiss, Tasha Hovell, Gemma Wong and Billie Green.
