STUDENTS from Redditch and Alcester will be competing against other schools and colleges to prove just how much business savvy they have.
The Young Enterprise Trade Fair will take place on Saturday in the Kingfisher Centre from 9am-3.30pm.
Trinity High School, St Augustine's Catholic High School, Woodrush High School and Alcester Grammar School will all compete, as well as other schools from Bromsgrove and Waseley.
Young Enterprise is a national charity which aims to "inspire and equip young people to learn and succeed through enterprise".
Its company programme is offered to youngsters from Year 9 upwards but generally, students from Year 12 take part.
It enables teams of young people to set up and run their own company for an academic year - from deciding on and designing a product, to production, to financial record keeping and everything else needed.
All the processes are carried out in line with recognised best business practice and supported and mentored by volunteers from the business community.
The trade fair gives the students an ideal chance to sell to the public and is also the occasion when their stall and products are judged.
Prizes will be given for the best stall, best stall runner-up and best product.
The overall winner will be announced in April and will go forward to the next round of the national competition.
Trinity High School pupils Akleem Akhtar (back), Luke Ebanks, Zara Carroll and Dannii Kelly (front) prepare to do business.
