A special needs school in Bromsgrove is celebrating being the first in the county to get a coveted award for its use of computer facilities.
Chadsgrove School, on Meadow Road, Catshill, was awarded the Naacemark award for excellence in its use of information technology.
It is only the fifth school in Worcestershire to achieve it.
The award recognises achievement of a national quality. Chadsgrove's information communication technology co-ordinator Angela White said: "We are delighted that the high levels of expertise and enthusiasm for everything to do with computers has been recognised by this national award.
"We are especially pleased to be the first special school in Worcestershire to get this recognition," she added.
