THE magic of the Orient came to life when a group of Bromsgrove School students held a celebration for the Chinese New Year.
Twelve Chinese fifth form pupils from Bromsgrove School dropped in on the reception class at Meadows First to tell the five and six-year-olds about the traditional celebrations.
The youngsters learnt how to write their names in Chinese and they also received traditional red envelopes containing gold coins from their Chinese teachers.
This is the second year running that the two schools have joined forces to celebrate the Chinese New Year. The year of the rooster starts next Tuesday.
