STAFF and children at a Rubery nursery raised nearly £230 at a fancy dress day held in aid of the tsunami appeal.
Youngsters at My First Friends Nursery, in Ashbrook Drive, Great Park, made donations to the fund at the event, which was held last Thursday.
They dressed in costumes including pirates, princesses and angels. Staff had their own 70s theme.
In the afternoon there was also a cake sale for children and parents.
The nursery's Claire Hollyhead said: "It went really well. Everyone involved gave very generously."
