A JET set Spa pensioner is heading off to Germany this month to meet with her European peers.
Eve Freer, a member of the Regional Assemblies Advisory Group on Ageing, has been asked to attend the first Silver Economy Conference in Germany.
It is a three-day conference, starting on February 16, which will give older people from all over Europe the chance to exchange ideas on a range of issues from health to transport.
Mrs Freer will draw on her experience as a member of the Droitwich Spa Area Forum for Older People, Worcestershire Partnership for Older People's Forum and the West Midlands Older Peoples Advisory Group.
"The agenda is fantastic with many new and innovative ideas from other countries which I hope to bring back to the Worcestershire Partnership of Older Peoples Forums," she said.
