AN early morning aerobics session helps Droitwich Spa tots start the day bursting with energy.
The six-minute workout is just one of the schemes adopted by Wychbold First and Nursery School, which has just won an award for promoting healthy living.
It has received the Healthy Schools Award, which marks a year of hard work by staff and students.
The School Road school has a wide physical education programme, both during and after lesson time.
Children are also encouraged to select a piece of fruit for their mid-morning snack and offers education of what is the best lunchbox grub.
Eleanor Sinton headteacher said: "We are very pleased with the award. It is nice to have the work of the school recognised."
