REDDITCH stopped to remember the victims of the Holocaust and other human rights abuses on Saturday.
The town held its own Holocaust Memorial ceremony following the official Holocaust Memorial Day last Thursday.
This year was especially poignant since it marked the 60th anniversary of the liberation of the Nazis' largest death camp, Auschwitz, where more than a million Jews and other groups were murdered.
On Saturday, Redditch Mayor Jack Cookson and the Rev Andrew Smith led a procession from the town hall to the Kingfisher Centre, where a service was held.
Pupils from Astwood Bank First School also sang at the service.
