A 23-year-old man charged with causing death by dangerous driving has been committed to crown court for trial.
James Francis Gilman, of Claerwen Avenue, Stourport, appeared before magistrates in Kidderminster on Tuesday and will appear before Worcester Crown Court next Thursday morning.
He is accused of driving without due care and attention along Habberley Road in Bewdley on July 1, last year, and causing the death of 16-year-old Jamie Holden by dangerous driving.
Defence solicitor, David Howarth, said Mr Gilman intended to plead not guilty on both matters. Unconditional bail was granted.
