GERRY Sanders and Richard Haynes, members of the Amazing Feet Running Club, took part in the Tough Guy event at Wolverhampton.
Sanders finished 628th in one hour 55 minutes 43 seconds, and Haynes was 2,812th in 30-25-24. Last year's winner, Brian Humphries, decided not to run as he has a recurring back injury.
Humphries was honoured at the club's presentation evening, where he won the Runner of the Year title for the third year in succession.
Sarah Armstrong received the trophy for Most Improved Runner of the year, while Shaw Pye took the title of Best Newcomer.
Eddie Sanders, who now lives in Scotland, recorded 1-25-0 in the Devil's Burdens relay over the Lomond Hills, running leg three of this tough hill race, which comprised 10 kms and 560m of climb.
