Bidford travelled the short distance to face Alcester Lions and returned back down home with maximum points after a 3-2 success.

Cubbington maintained their title charge with a handsome nine-goal hammering of Shipston who were made to suffer at the hands of seven different scorers, including one of their own players, with Chris Parker and Lawrence Peach both netting twice.

Broadway boasted four different marksmen in a second division League Cup success at Badsey United, where Rich Craig, Mark Evans, Matt Sher-idan and Andy Beale out paid to the hopes of United's second string.
Badsey suffered a sorry afternoon as Rangers lost out 4-0 in their Journal Division One visit to Ilmington whose goals came from Dan Hodgkins (2), Jim Shearman and Liam McGrath.
The losers' second string, meanwhile, also lost by a margin of four goals as Simon Myles helped himself to a four-timer as Kenilworth eased to a 6-2 Cutler third division victory.
In the same section, Andy Borton banged in a hat-trick to keep Long Compton on course for promotion after a 7-1 win at bottom of the pile Welford where John Smith also bagged a brace. Ben Satchwell found the net for the hapless hosts.
Red Alert inflicted a 6-2 defeat on Blockley Sports, while Henley Res-erves also scored six on their travels in an easy Alun Rees Trophy triumph at Bidford.
Ilmington's top flight success improved their championship chances with Halfords losing 2-1 at Henley. Quinton lost by the same score at Southam, while Rich Foreman and Kevin Ward both netted twice as FISSC and Stratford Spartak shared six goals at Tiddington.
