RANGERS returned to the top of the Cheltenham League after serving up an impressive display.
Shaun Read and Owen Powell combined to set up Mark Magee for the opener after seven minutes.
Read's cross was then only cleared as far as George Lavis who powered in Badsey's second and their confident play produced a third goal again courtesy of Magee's next finish.
Read opened his account six minutes into the second period and then made it 5-0 after latching on to Jamie Clarke's pass.
The latter capped a hard working display with his side's sixth and Ben Holland's vision sent Read clear to complete his hat-trick and complete a fine all-round display. Jon Stickler was named player of the match.
Evesham Utd Robins U-13 1, Norton Athletic 2
THE visit of league leaders Athletic inspired Robins to produce one of their best performances of the season and only a late goal prevented the home side from taking a deserved point.
Early exchanges were even but and neither goal keeper had been called into any serious action until James Martin threaded an inch-perfect pass through to Jake Nightingale who made no mistake from 15 yards.
However, An innocuous challenge on the edge of United penalty area was penalised and the resultant free-kick found the net.
As the game seemed to be heading for parity a harmless cross eluded the home defence and they paid the ultimate price as Norton found the net for a second time.
Searching for the equaliser, the Robins became stretched at the back but, two fine saves from player of the match Andrew Taylor kept Evesham in a match that they were unlucky not to level.

Gloucester City 2
THE performance of both sides was dictated by the heavy pitch and passing football was at a premium in Saturday's Amros Cup semi-final first leg.
City made the better start and were the greater attacking force in the first half and goalkeeper Ben Parry was finally beaten when a striker broke clear down the left.
David Huggins had the best chance to level matters after a rare gap opened up in the Gloucester rearguard but he shot wide.
United enjoyed more possession after the break but City were always a threat on the break and they took their chance when it came to double their lead.
Ryan Cantrill got Evesham back into the tie with a looping header from a corner and the last ten minutes saw the Robins pressing for an equaliser that never came but a final place is still up for grabs.
Bromyard Tn 3,
Evesham Utd U-13 Girls 4
UNITED produced their best display of the season but they were forced to hang on for the win after a late Bromyard rally.
Katie Armento and Gaby French gave Evesham an early two-goal cushion and it was 3-0 at half-time when Vicky Walters also found the net.
Town used the slope to good effect after the restart and they quickly reduced the arrears but United newcomer Abbey Hunter soon re-established her side's three-goal advantage.
Two more Bromyard goals set up a tense final few minutes but Evesham hung on to claim the spoils.
Bredon Colts 0, Badsey Rgrs U-7 2
A FIRST competitive outing for the Badsey boys brought a hard-earned victory.
Ryan Attwood's clever lob beat the Bredon goalkeeper after good work from Jordan Lymn.
Badsey's clincher came courtesy of Tom Benfield's first-ever goal that secured victory.
Peopleton U-11 7,
Sheppey Swifts 0
PEOPLETON booked their place in the semi-finals of the League Cup in fine style.
They took until just before half-time to take control of the tie when two goals from Jake Bartlett gave them a two-goal interval advantage.
Peopleton grew in confidence as the game progressed and Joe Fowles helped himself to a second half treble as Sheppey were sunk almost without trace.
George Hodgetts and an own goal completed the scoring on a day when Matthew Hancock was named Peopleton's player of the match.
Evesham Utd 3, Littleton U-13 3
JAMIE Banks grabbed a last-gasp equaliser to earn Littleton a point from what was a fabulous advert for football in this age group.
Banks had earlier scored twice to give the visitors a 2-0 lead only for United to hit back and claim a 3-2 lead.
However, Banks wasn't finished and he completed his hat-trick to ensure both teams earned a deserved point.
Bredon Colts 2, Badsey Rgrs U-8 3
GOALS from Phil Young and Josh Evans gave Rangers the early edge but Bredon hit back to halve the arrears by half-time.
Evans made it 3-1 with an excellent second half strike and the scoreline remained the same until the final kick of the match when Colts scored a second.

Evesham Utd Robins U-11 7
THOMAS Garbett netted twice in the early stages to give United the perfect start.
Josh Downey quickly made it 3-0 with a low shot and Elliott Grady's strike capped a fine first half display by the Evesham boys.
Downey ensured more of the same after the restart with his second, while Grady bettered that tally by scoring two more to complete his hat-trick after the gallant hosts had been twice rescued the frame of the goal.
Littleton U-11 6, Pershore 4
LITTLETON made light of a heavy pitch to lead 2-0 early on when Nathan Brain got on the the end of two good passing moves.
However, Pershore fought back to level with goals from Luke Jones and Sam Cross before the home side turned the tables to take a 6-2 interval lead.
David Stringer found the net twice and Alex Drew and Jack Jeffrey both scored once to leave Pershore with an uphill struggle in the second period.
They did their best to claw back the deficit and early pressure ended with Michael Ruff trimming the arrears that were cut again but a second for Jones came too late to prevent Littleton taking the honours.
Littleton U-15 0,
Drakes Broughton 4
TOP of the table Drakes had their work cut out to see off the Mercian Festival League's basement side despite posting a 4-0 interval lead.
The goals came courtesy of Chris Ridings (2), Sam Hicks and Jamie Watts bit it was a different tale after the restart when goalkeeper David Clifton was the visiting side's saviour on several occasions as his saves denied the gutsy hosts.

ONE goal settled this hard-fought Midlands League clash with the winner coming early in the second half.
Fortune favoured the winners but there was nothing fortunate about the penalty save from Jordan Willis that kept United in the match right until the final whistle.

A ONE-SIDED contest gave United an easy passage into the semi-finals of the Knockout Cup.
Olly Davies was the goal hero with four, while two for Michael Savidge and one for Dean Lee ensured Evesham progressed.

Churchdown Panthers 1
PANTHERS netted on the break to take the first half honours but the second period saw United put the visitors under pressure.
The prolific Henry Woods was being tightly marked but the deserved equaliser arrived after some good inter-play ended with Louis Brown passing to Elliot Grady who bent the ball into the corner.
Bryn Tomes, Sam Ford and Woods all went close to snatching a winner, while Leon Ballard produced two saves to secure Evesham a point.
Badsey Rgrs U-9 1, Ilmington Utd 1
ILMINGTON took the lead after 15 minutes with a well worked goal and they held the advantage until half-time despite conceding a penalty that was saved.
Another great chance went begging son after the restart and it took until six minutes from time for Rangers to finally find the net when player of the match Matty Andrew linked up with Dixon who netted from close-range.
Harvington U-11 3,
Drakes Broughton Rgrs 6
QUALITY finishing helped Drakes eventually overcame gallant hosts.
Three times Rangers went ahead in the match only for Harvington to equalise. Daniel Wilcox scored a couple of screamers in the first half while Ryan Griffith fired a shot into the top corner from 20 yards and Sam Shale coolly slotted home after the interval.
Wilcox added a couple of late goals to wrap up a fine victory for Drakes.
