TWO salesmen seen in Evesham on the day jewellery was stolen from a house are being asked by the police to come forward.
The burglary at a Greenhill property happened on Monday January 24, and the men were seen visiting various homes in the area between 2.15pm and 2.30pm. They were reported to be selling high quality food and using a small white van or car.
Police want the pair to contact them so they can be eliminated from enquiries.
Spokesman Richard Bull said: "It is of course entirely possible the two men were genuinely going about their proper business. However, we would like to hear from them at the earliest opportunity or from members of the community who may have seen them or their vehicle."
Anyone with further information should contact the police on 08457 444888 quoting incident number 451S/240105.
