A MUMPS outbreak means Kidderminster Harriers face an even bumpier ride at promotion chasers Scunthorpe on Saturday -- if they can field a team at all.
Goalkeeper John Danby and defender Johnny Mullins have both gone down with the illness, while Blair Sturrock, Simon Weaver and Jamie Gleeson are suffering similar symptoms.
Relegation-fighting Harriers already have two players, Lee Jenkins and Tom Bennett, suspended for the Coca-Cola League Two visit to north Lincolnshire this weekend.
And with four others out through injury, Harriers have informed the FA and Football League of their problem as they could be down to just 11 full-time professionals, including new signing Bertrand Cozic.
