THE series of Winter Cric-ket evenings organised by the Worcestershire Society continues on Tuesday when the guest speaker will be Dennis Amiss.
A Warwickshire player between 1960 and 1987, he scored more than 43,000 runs including 102 centuries and played 50 Tests.
At the centre of some controversial episodes in the county's administration, he is now chief executive at Edgbaston.
The event starts at 7.30pm and takes place in the Cricket Suite at New Road. Entry is free to society members, £2.50 for others.
