MANY people in Bromsberrow will have happy memories of the late Reverend William (Bill) Barber, who died in December, when he lived at The Rectory and conducted services. He and his wife were a delightful couple and he nursed her devotedly until her death. I remember him well and he helped me on several occasions.
Bromesberrow St Mary's School will be saying goodbye to its headteacher Christine Malone at the end of term. She has accepted a position with Gloucestershire County Council education department as early year and inclusion manager.
By popular demand, Pip Powell paid a return visit to Bromsberrow Social and Gardening Club at the January meeting and presented further tales of Ledbury. Gardeners' question time with David Myers followed.
The next meeting is on Thursday, February 10, at 7.30pm in Bromsberrow Village Hall when the speaker will be Keith Prowse talking on pests in the garden.
