CONSTRUCTION equipment worth £10,000 was stolen from the site of the new viaduct in Upton.
Taken were three compressed-air concrete compactors, two nine-inch petrol-driven disc cutters, three 2.4 KVA petrol generators, an electric circular saw and a petrol-driven concrete compactor.
The equipment, which belonged to Norwest Holst Construction, was taken between 5pm on Wednesday, January 26, and 7.30am the following day.
Police want to hear from anyone who saw any unusual activity at, or near, the construction site. They would also like to hear from anyone who is offered equipment from a suspicious source. Call police on 08457 444 888, quoting 96S/270105.
