A family desperate to trace their lost dog have called in the services of a Malvern dowser.
Professional dowser Daphne Smith is helping the Boardmans trace their beloved English setter Henry, who disappeared from their Solihull home in March.
So far, Ms Smith has highlighted an area between Kidderminster and Droitwich, where she thinks Henry may be.
This has been backed up by reported sightings.
Ms Smith works with items belonging to the missing animal or person and, in cases like Henry's, uses a map and pendulum to guide her to where he could be.
"I never promise to be able to find what people are looking for," she said.
"I try, but sometimes, for one reason or another, things aren't meant to be found."
Ms Smith said she deals with similar requests every day.
"At the moment I'm also looking for a honey jar full of £20 notes that someone buried in their garden and forgot where they buried it," she said. "I'm also looking for a man missing in the South of France and a dog that has disappeared in Yorkshire."
Ms Smith can be contacted on 01684 573588.
