HEREFORD United chief Graham Turner is not expecting an easy ride tomorrow as Hyde United arrive at Edgar Street in the FA Trophy fourth round.
The Tigers from Greater Manchester have reached the semi-finals of the competition on three occasions and are among the favourites to win promotion from the UniBond Premier Division into Conference North.
Their 4-0 demolition of Bamber Bridge last Saturday lifted them to third in the division with three games in hand on leaders Workington.
Hyde's league rivals Radcliffe Borough gave the Bulls the odd fright during their FA Cup clash earlier this season and Turner is anticipating a similar encounter.
Turner said: "It's not going to be easy. It's a prestigious competition and every team in it wants to get to the final at Villa Park.
"We have got the benefit of a home tie against lower-graded opponents. All things being equal, we should win the game with the players we have got.
"We don't know a great deal about Hyde but I've heard they are a good side. We know they will be wanting to put one over us."
Turner may again start with striker Danny Carey-Bertram who notched his sixth goal in four starts in last Sunday's 2-0 Nationwide Conference win at Aldershot.
Experienced forward Lee Mills is still out with an ankle problem that is not responding to treatment, although defender Ryan Green has recovered from a hamstring injury.
Turner praised Carey-Bertram for his recent scoring blitz and hoped for more of the same from the 20-year-old.
He added: "It's a big opportunity for him. He's got good pace and mobility and has got among the goals. He's got to keep playing well and improve on his overall game."
Hyde boss Steve Waywell will be without suspended midfielder Phil Salt and full-back Alex Mortimer is cup-tied but centre-backs Paul Jones and Nick Hill return from injury.
Waywell, who masterminded the downfall of Hereford on a couple of occasions as Leigh RMI manager, insists his players are not overawed by the task ahead.
He said: "It's a great game for the club. Obviously it will be difficult because they are a quality side who won 2-0 at Aldershot but I know we're capable of getting something out of the game.
"They are a professional club and will go about the job in the right way -- they will have done their homework on us and won't take it lightly."
