BROMSGROVE Rovers are aiming to kill two birds with one stone when Burnham visit tomorrow (3pm).
Victory for Jimmy Mullen's side would not only keep them in touch with the Southern League Division One West promotion chase but also guarantee an end to a mini-goal drought.
Rovers have lost their last two games against Evesham United and Rothwell Town, drawing blanks in both.
The Worcestershire Senior Cup loss apart, Rovers last found the net in their 2-0 win at Marlow on January 15, making it their longest league spell without a goal this season.
A lack of strikers is the main reason as Rovers have had several disruptions in that department, forcing them to deploy players out of position.
Injuries have forced Leon Mitchell and Delton Francis out, while Paul Szewczyk has just returned after the birth of his daughter.
New signing Ravi Sangha played the last eight minutes against Evesham and Jae Martin was only drafted in as one-game cover from Moor Green against the Robins.
But manager Mullen, who hopes to have at least one loan signing in place for tomorrow, is confident the drought is only temporary.
"Hopefully it's a blip," he said. "We have been without our strike-force for three weeks and it's very difficult to compete against the so-called better teams like Evesham and Rothwell without any strikers.
"We have had to make do with defenders and midfielders playing up front."
Danny Lennon is also set to re-join Rovers from Stratford Town in time to feature against Burnham, a match Rovers need to win.
"It's important that we do very well," Mullen added.
