CHARLIE Burford won all his sets for Dukes Way Dynamos and Collette James won two and Vivien Tolley one when they played Allsorts in this Division Three match in the Malvern Table Tennis League.
Alex Lindner was again the best player for Allsorts with two wins and partnering James Mulka (1) in successful doubles.
Abbey College's Chang took one game from Bill Smith but did not manage to clinch a set or any points. These four points put Maulers further ahead at the top of the table thanks to Don James, Ray Davies and Bill's strength.
When Allsorts played Manor Park Crackpots, Alex took a set from Ed Palmer but Stan Ginn, Richard Cullis and Ed otherwise outplayed them.
A match which did not finish until 11.30pm was between Uckinghall and Crackpots B. Only three sets were won in straight games and four went to five games. Ten games were won by just two points. Roger Davies won all his singles with Pete Nash and Peter Quy winning two each and Roger and Pete taking the doubles. Ted Cates and Stephen Lindner each won a singles set and earned a point from the long evening.
