THE 16th running of local club Cyclesport Midlands' Reliability Ride takes place on Sunday (February 6).
While not a race, this event is quite sporting, starting from St John's Sports Centre at 9am, the route goes out to Tenbury Wells via Great Witley and returns along the B4204, passing through Clifton upon Teme and Broadheath, a hilly 45 miles. There is a time limit of 2hrs 45mins.
Previous events have attracted 60 or so riders and it is seen as a good warm-up for the coming race season. The ride is open to all, the entry fee is £2 and includes a cup of tea and a piece of cake for all the finishers.
