VILLAGE halls and community centres across Worcestershire are to be treated to sounds from Africa, Latin America, Asia and the Caribbean.
The touring group Boka Halat will be presenting its show Mutual Inspiration - a programme of multi-cultural music and a barn dance - as part of the county's new rural and community scheme called Shindig.
The first part of the show is a concert where the band performs original songs and music from the members' individual traditions.
After the interval, the audience pushes back the chairs and gets barn dancing.
"This is a unique evening for all the family and simply not to be missed," said a Shindig spokeswoman.
"Hurry to find a show near you."
The shows will be staged on Friday, February 18 and Saturday, February 19, and for more details call Sue Roberts on 01544 327877 or Jason Knight on 01256 474015.
