GUESTS at a special lecture discovered how Worcester became known as the Faithful City and what that means in the present day.
City Mayor Coun Aubrey Tarbuck invited The Right Reverend Peter Selby, Bishop of Worcester, to enlighten the audience at his annual lecture.
The thought-provoking evening was organised by Coun Tarbuck and Professor Michael G Clarke, president of the Worcester Civic Society.
Discussions followed the talk at the Guildhall, an event held by each city mayor during their year in office.
