GENEROUS students at a Worcestershire school collected more than £400 for charity with a fund-raising maths challenge.
The Hanley Castle High school pupils gained sponsorship for a day of maths problems and puzzles, and this week handed the total to the NSPCC to help its Full Stop campaign.
Kia Giles, from the children's charity, collected a cheque for £451.21 from Jake Beech, a Year 7 pupil at the Hanley Castle school, near Malvern.
The 11-year-old was one of dozens who took part in the maths day, held in December.
