CATERING students and shop managers have joined forces to have a flipping good time to raise money for charity.

St Richard's Hospice has organised a pancake tossing tournament to be held at 12.15pm outside Sainsbury's in the Cathedral Plaza on Shrove Tuesday, tomorrow, to raise funds.

Competitors from Worcester College of Technology will hope to flatten the opposition from Worcester shop representatives, the Mayor, Allah Ditta, and Wyvern FM DJ Stoney, to see how many crepes they can flip in a minute.

St Richard's Hospice, off London Road, offers palliative care to people suffering from life-limiting illnesses, and fund-raisers will be on hand to gather donations from spectators.
