VISITORS had a sneak preview of a glorious National Trust garden in Worcester on Saturday.
Despite the drizzle, people turned out to see the abundance of snowdrops and roses at The Greyfriars in Friar Street.
The day, which supported the National Gardens Scheme and a range of charities, was the first opportunity to see the historic grounds in full bloom.
Charities to benefit from the £1.50 a head entry fee will be Macmillan Cancer Relief, Marie Curie and NGS gardeners' bursaries, for the education and training of gardeners.
The Greyfriars, a 15th Century merchant's house, will open on a more permanent basis from Wednesday, March 2, when people will be able to enjoy guided tours on Wednesdays to Saturdays.
