A man killed when his tractor was dragged into a slurry pit
is believed to be Droitwich farmer Barrie Heath.
Paramedics, the Air Ambulance, police and the fire brigade were called to Park Hall Farm, off Hollowfields Road, in Hanbury, near Droitwich, on Friday afternoon.
Mr Heath had been driving a tractor along muddy ground when it slipped into a slurry pit.
This morning police said they could not confirm that the farmer was Barrie Heath as formal identification of the body had not yet taken place.
But they said a post-mortem was due to be carried out today and an inquest was expected to be opened at Stourport-upon-Severn tomorrow.
The Health and Safety Executive is now investigating the accident.
