A FACT-finding business and Single Payment Scheme briefing for farmers and land managers is to be held on Friday, February 11, 4.30pm, at Worcester Cattle Market.
Worcestershire farmers will be invited to ask questions about the Single Payment Scheme, about making better use of their existing resources and about their future farming options.
The keynote speaker at the event is Country Land and Business Association (CLA) deputy president, David Fursdon, who will be joined by an advisory panel from the CLA and from McCartneys, agricultural auctioneers and chartered surveyors, who will address individual farmers' questions.
Farmers wishing to attend should register by calling the CLA West Midlands regional office on 01785 284722, or by email. info.westmidlands@cla.org.uk.
"All farmers will need to consider the future of their businesses to make the most of the new CAP reform legislation and the opportunities that the move to decoupled payments will create," said David Price, CLA West Midlands assistant director.
