READING the public notices in the Press, I was absolutely appalled at the destruction the county council is inflicting on our schools by changing from three-tier to two-tier.
Many of the primary schools will have to have temporary classrooms until the schools can be enlarged. King Charles High School will have to be on two different sites until new premises can be acquired.
How on earth councillors can inflict this on our children, I cannot understand.
I wonder if they just envisage how much these abandoned schools will be worth as building land.
Why on earth they had to interfere with something that is working well defies belief.
Schools in other areas that are presently three-tier must be quaking in their shoes.
