I AM becoming increasingly concerned at the amount of litter on the streets of Worcester. I have raised this on many occasions with the city council and my councillor, Robert Rowden.
Councillor Rowden's response to me was that there is nothing they can do about it. What an indictment on our society. Today on my drive from my home, the London Road (A44) and Swinesherd Way to the Hospital is actually worse than ever. May I suggest that one of your reporters goes to these areas and takes some photographs. You would be appalled.
Also, where I live in Battenhall, most of the rubbish is dropped by school children attending Nunnery Wood and the Sixth Form College. I have written to the headteachers of both organisations about this.
ANDREW TAYLOR,
Worcester.
