MICK Tuohy's departure is probably the hardest decision I have had to make in all my time in the game.
You are in a position to make decisions and I would like to think I haven't ducked any decisions during my time at the club.
There are no hidden agendas to it - I just thought it was the right thing to do at this moment in time.
Friendships and relationships can't be allowed to get in the way of what is a totally professional decision.
Mick was bitterly disappointed, even more so because he is a Worcester City man and one of the biggest supporters of the club, and that made the decision even more difficult to make.
His love for the club and his honesty, sincerity and dedication have been welcomed.
I am sure he will have a think about what he wants to do in the future, and for what he has done for the club over a number of years, I would hope that there will always be a welcome mat for him at Worcester City.
John Newman is coming back to help us out for the time being but regarding a permanent appointment, I haven't spoken to anyone about coming to the club.
The situation as it stands is that we are going to assess the current situation and take the necessary time to make what will be an important decision.
Our 4-0 victory over Nuneaton on Saturday looks a surprise result, but it was certainly a pleasing one.
I wasn't as surprised by it in that we know we are capable of something like that.
Before the game you could sense that the players were up for it, and although we looked a bit tentative in the early stages, the goal settled us down.
We had a bit of fortune for the first goal which Darren Acton would normally expect to save, but a second one quickly followed and from then on, there was only one side that was going to win.
I wouldn't like to single any one player out as there were strong contributions from everybody in the team, and when that happens you are going to win games.
Since the home defeat against Stafford on New Year's Day, the game at Dover was a similar type of performance although we didn't get the result to go with it, the Newport and Redditch scorelines tell their own story and the Nuneaton game has knocked it on again, with the Moor Green game sandwiched between them as a reminder.
But the Nuneaton result has got to be backed up with another solid home performance against Welling United this Saturday. There are no easy games in this league - they all present their own different type of problems.
We've allowed David Foy to join Halesowen Town on loan for a month.
We are coming up to two-thirds of the way through the season and for the final run-in, we want every one of our players fit and in the best condition.
We feel it will be more beneficial to get David some first-team action at another club, but he certainly remains part of our plans.
The catalogue of things that have happened to him since he joined us have been incredible and we just hope we are through everything now.
A fit David Foy playing well is an asset to any club in this league.
