MONDAY'S win against Moor Green made it three on the trot and it was by far our most convincing performance to date.
Everything clicked into place both individually and collectively and it was a very strong display.
The criticism up until the Moor Green game was that we had played in patches, even for 45 minutes at Merthyr and Welling, but we had not produced a full 90 minutes - well we got it in spades on Monday.
We'd danced around it at Welling, getting in plenty of good situations, but on Monday we delivered what we've been threatening to do and it was good that we had a crowd of 1,250 to see it.
There have been times in the past when we've arrived at St George's Lane on the back of good away results but then fallen flat on our face in front of our home crowd.
Stafford was such an occasion last year when a lot of people came along to see what was happening with the team on the back of our successful start to the season but we delivered them a smack in the face by not performing.
This time we did!
One of the most pleasing things about the game was the abundance of pace we had on display which at times was almost frightening.
Teams have a fear of natural pace and if it's mixed in with ability it's a major asset.
We've got it in several areas with Mark Owen and Leon Kelly up front, Adam Wilde out wide and Darren Middleton bursting through the middle.
Leon is proving to be a real handful and puts defences on the back foot all the time. It was interesting to see how their central defenders were loath to come out wide with him for fear of being isolated one on one.
There were good performances right through the team and even Danny McDonnell who wasn't that busy did his stuff when he was required to do so.
With players on the verge of returning from injuries I'm going to be in that rare position of being spoilt for choice.
Testimony to the strength we have got in the squad can be seen by the team we are sending to Bromsgrove Rovers reserves tomorrow night with all of Monday's substitutes plus Pat Lyons and David Holmes.
Included in that team will be Dan Jones who stood in at left back for the first three games but was left out when Paul Carty returned.
All young players are disappointed when they don't play but we were up against it in the first three games especially in that left back position but Dan stuck to his task manfully.
It was a difficult job in trying circumstances in what is an unfamiliar position for him but he stuck to it and helped us round a potentially tricky situation.
Dan's young enough to learn, he knows the areas we want him to improve on but it's credit to him that he helped us out with Paul Carty and Kevin Halliday out of the equation.
While Monday's game has given us an extra spring in our step it's now done and dusted and time to move on to Crawley.
We've now covered most teams in the league and have had the most favourable reports on Crawley so it will be a real test.
It certainly was last year when we had to be at our resilient best during a goalless draw at the Broadfield Stadium.
I don't know what kind of game to expect this time round but we're prepared for it. We're undefeated, hitting form, have an improved squad, confidence is high and we cannot really ask for more than that.
