A WORCESTER recruitment agency has been asked to "steer" a luxury boat maker in the right direction in terms of training.
Hewett Recruitment, which is based in Foregate Street, has been appointed to implement a series of in-house training for the Kidderminster firm Sealine International.
The request is part of a new initiative by Hewett Recruitment to develop training packages in addition to its recruitment selection services.
"By listening to and understanding the specific personnel issues within an organisation, we are able to create a training package to suit individual needs," said Louise Hewett, managing director for Hewett Recruitment.
Experienced
"My training team is highly experienced and skilled in doing just that, rather than taking the 'one size fits all' approach to training many people take.
"Training was a logical step for Sealine, who we already work with recruiting personnel at all levels for its 600-strong workforce."
Matt Cherry, director of human resources at Sealine, added: "We have asked Hewett Recruitment to create a training package geared towards raising the professionalism of team leaders.
"I am always looking for someone to go that extra mile and I knew from experience that Hewett Recruitment does that."
