SOUTH Hereford Garages were the winners of a top award at this year's Annual Volkswagen retailer conference.

The Centurion Way franchise picked up one of three prestigious awards presented by the German manufacturer in recognition of its outstanding performance.

To win Volkswagen's premier award South Hereford Garages had to meet team targets for sales, service and parts performance.

Their customers were also asked to complete a questionnaire, which placed as much emphasis on the standards of service they received as the quality of the work done.

The firm was judged to have demonstrated the highest levels of professionalism in sales and service and a consistent commitment to customer care.

"We are delighted that our customers not only continue to support us but also take the time to monitor our service levels," said director Charlie Richards.

"Everyone here is totally dedicated to making sure our customers always receive the best possible service and this award is the result of a consistent team effort."
