Young badminton stars are being urged to take part in this month's county championships.

Worcestershire Schools Badminton Association, supported by Worcestershire County Council, is holding its u13s championships on Sunday, February 27 and there are hopes for a big turnout.

Badminton players who live or go to school in Worcestershire and were born on or after January 1, 1992, are eligible for the event.

Organiser Margaret Hope said: "We would love to see some new faces.

"It will be a fun day and everyone is very friendly, so please come along and take part".
