Tewkesbury YMCA 0,
Badsey Rgrs U-15 19
RANGERS romped to their biggest win of the season against ten-man opposition.
It took Badsey just two minutes to find the net when Shaun Read converted Joe Smith's pass and it was 3-0 five minutes later as the floodgates opened.
Rangers had rattled in a round dozen by half-time after which they eased up slightly and only added seven more in the second half when YMCA's offside trap regularly outfoxed the hosts.
Jamie Clarke was the top scorer with seven goals, while Read added four more to his early opener.
Mark Magee chipped in with a treble, Owen Powell netted twice while Smith and player of the match George Lavis completed the rout with a goal apiece.
Drakes Broughton U-15 4,
Droitwich Jaguars 2
TWO goals from Dane Aldington hel-ped Drakes to victory and set them up nicely for this Sunday's League Cup semi-final against Welland.
Jamie Watts opened the scoring only for Jags to level before newcomer Aldington smashed in a thumping 25-yard volley before turning provider as Sam Hicks made it 3-1 at half-time.
Again, Droitwich hit back to make for a tense second period that ended with Aldington heading in his second and sealing the points for the hosts for whom James Marsh had a fine game.
Evesham Utd 2, Leckhampton A 1
UNITED ended Leckhampton's unbe-aten sequence with a battling performance and goals from Michael Savidge and Dean Lee.
Only a couple of fine saves from Jordan Willis prevented Leckhampton from breaking the deadlock and it needed a wonder strike from Savidge to finally unhinge the visiting defence.
Lee made it 2-0 five minutes later but the match was back in the melting pot ten minutes from time when Ciaran Gilbert's handball on the line saw him dismissed and Evesham have their lead halved but they hung on gamely.
Badsey Rgrs U-10 1,
Gotherington Jnrs 0
RANGERS booked a place in the semi-finals of the C & G League Cup thanks to an early strike from Nick Remfry.
Gotherington twice went close to levelling, while Alex Trotman shot over at the other end.
Remfry came close to doubling Badsey's lead in the second half, while player of the match Jack Hughes and goalkeeper Louis Sutton helped ensure the clean sheet that sealed a semi spot.
Evesham Utd Robins U-11 3,
Lyppard Rgrs Reality 1
ELLIOTT Grady set the Robins on the way to victory with an early goal from Tim DiFranco's pass.
Lyppard levelled soon after the start of the second half but Evesham's response was instant as Thomas Garbett converted a cross from Andrew Townsend.
Rangers then hit a post before Grady's second goal clinched a second successive victory for the High School boys.
Salford Rvrs U-16 3, Peopleton 3
AN INTERVAL pep talk had the desired effect as Rovers hit back to earn a share of the Mercian Festival League spoils.
Stand-in goalkeeper Alex Gretton produced a series of fine first half saves to prevent Salford from trailing by more than one goal at the break.
Ashley Wilkes and Matt Layton had come close to scoring in the opening half but the goals finally arrived courtesy of Josh Cocker and Robbie James early in the second period.
Player of the match Matt Taplin stood out at the back as Peopleton poured forward and their pressure finally told and two swift strikes left Rovers staring defeat in the face.
However, after several chances went begging, James equalised when he converted a looping cross from Jamie Coughlan.
Evesham Utd U-11 A 11,
St Marks Jnrs 0
HENRY Woods rounded the goalkeeper to open Evesham's account after being set up by Louis Brown, who then threaded a pass for Elliot Grady to slot home.
Brown was again the provider as Woods made it 3-0 and the prolific striker then completed an early hat trick with a glancing header from a floated cross from Tom Evans.
Woods netted his fourth with Brown yet again the provider in what was proving a one-sided quarter-final clash.
Brown and James Bearcroft dominated the game from the middle and it was James Coldrick who scored next with a looping cross that eluded the keeper.
Sam Ford robbed a defender and finished well to make it 7-0 and Brown scored following one of the best passing moves of the game.
Grady breached the defence for United's ninth and Andrew Powell then saw his cross deflected into the net.
Scott Andrew and Colin Philpott had a couple of attacks to deal with before Grady completed his hat- trick.
Drakes Broughton Rgrs U-11 4,
Illmington 2
DRAKES Broughton carried on their good form with a hard earned win.
Daniel Wilcox almost broke the deadlock in the first half but his header hit the crossbar.
Rangers took the lead before half-time with goals from Wilcox and Andrew Fletcher only for Illmington to reduce the arrears with a fine shot as the half drew to a close.
Drakes dominated the second half when they added further goals from Joe Morrall and Tom Lloyd.
Illmington hit back with a second courtesy of a home side defender.
Inkberrow Eagles U-13 1,
Bredon Colts Bullets 3
A DEPLETED Colts made hard work of taking the points from lowly Ink-berrow.
The ten players were too strong for Inkberrow and late inclusion Alexander Phillips had a big influence on the game.
It was his cut back that Alex Antonelli shot towards goal and Toby Patterson managed the ball past the advancing goalkeeper.
Bredon huffed and puffed but couldn't make their pressure tell and it was left to man of the match Patterson to make the difference when firing in his side's second from the penalty spot.
Inkberrow replied from a penalty when a striker reacted fastest after Felix Denton had saved the initial kick.
It was Patterson who settled the points when completing his hat-trick.
Bredon Colts Athletico 4,
Bredon Harriers 1
TOP scorer James Finlay replaced injury victim David Ballard in the Harriers' goal and he was helpless to prevent league leaders Athletico from taking a four-goal interval lead.
A reshuffled back line gave Harriers greater belief after the break when Elliott Stooke and Ryan Everitt played well and Joe Cooke's first goal of the season was well deserved but only proved a consolation.
Pershore 2, Bredon Colts 2
(Bredon won 4-2 on penalties)
BREDON booked their place in the League Cup semi-finals after a tense penalty shoot-out.
Oliver Tombs was the hero with two stops in the penalty competition, while Gibbs, Williams, Blackman and Sly all netted to steer Colts into the last four.
Bredon opened the scoring when Callum Harwood netted in the first half but a looping shot past an unsighted goalkeeper brought Pershore level.
Colts then conceded a second before half-time and had to wait until late in the tie to snatch an equaliser when Arran Williams netted off the underside of the crossbar.
