I WOULD like to thank the ignorant gentleman who was pushing his trolley and entering the Droitwich Morrison's shop via the Victoria Square door at midday on Thursday January 27. I am sure he will know who I am talking about.

My wife, who is almost 70, was about to come out of the store and she slipped on a grape which had been dropped just inside the door. She badly bruised her knees and was also shaken up. A couple of the Morrison's staff and a kind passerby helped to get her to stand up and a young lady who was a nurse advised her to stay where she was until one of the staff fetched a chair for her to sit down and also a glass of water.

This so-called gentleman pushed past other customers waiting to enter. He pushed me out of the way with his trolley and then told my wife to move out of the way as she was blocking the door and he wanted to enter the shop. This upset my wife almost as much as the fall.

My wife and I would like to say thank you to the staff at Morrison's and the gentleman who helped to pick her up and the nurse for her advice.

I hope that the other gentleman finds himself in the same position as my wife and some other person pushes him out of the way.
