EVESHAM Cricket Club have recruited Phil Newport as specialist bowling coach.
The former Worcestershire and England seamer will work with members of the club's Birmingham Premier League squad.
"This is all part of our policy to get the best out of home-grown talent," said player development manager James Bailey.
"We have some good players but we believe that they will get even better with the close attention of an expert coach."
The 42-year-old's first session working with Evesham's pace bowling squad is set to take place tonight at the County Indoor Cricket Centre at Prince Henry's High School.
