Trading Standards officers, working with police, seized hundreds of counterfeit DVDs, videos and computer equipment in a raid on a Redditch town centre shop and residential property on Friday.
Worcestershire Trading Standards officer David Hough said: "We'd urge members of the public to remember some bargains are not all they seem.
"In instances such as this, there are no guarantees the quality of these products would be anything other than very poor.
Counterfeiting carries a maximun penalty of 10 years imprisonment and an unlimited fine.
DC Gareth Keyte, of Redditch police, said: "A man was arrested on Friday and questioned at the police station. He was then released on police bail pending further inquiries."
